One of the goals set by the Generalitat by building this new website is to make all the information about the Generalitat available to a greater number of citizens, avoiding exclusion and promoting accessibility with a view to making the information universal. The aim is to ensure that everyone can browse through the pages of this web Portal with no difficulty in gaining access.
The Generalitat's new portal has been developed for this purpose, with a view to facilitating general access, allowing access with different types of user, including clear, well-structured contents and improving browsing and user experience. To this end, from the first phases of the project, work has focused on adapting the entire website to the recommendations relative to compliance with the Accessibility Guidelines established by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), and more specifically, to the AA standard.
