    What is

    What is it and what is it for

    The scholarship for the completion of university studies, announced for the academic year 2024-2025, is a grant aimed at undergraduate students who have a maximum of 24 credits remaining to complete their university studies in public and private universities in the Valencian Community and its affiliated centers.

    These credits must correspond to third and/or successive enrollments.

    The following studies are not included in these scholarships:

    - Master's degree studies.

    - Those corresponding to the third cycle or doctorate

    - Specialization studies

    - University-specific degree programs

    The scholarship may be applied for by undergraduate students enrolled during the 2024-2025 academic year at public and private universities in the Valencian Community and its affiliated centers.

    To be eligible for the scholarship, they must have a maximum of 24 credits left to finish their university studies.

    The credits for which the scholarship is requested must correspond to third and/or successive enrollments.

     

    Requirements

    Nationality:

    • Be Spanish or a citizen of the European Union.
    • For non-EU foreigners, the current regulations on the rights of foreigners in Spain will be applied, excluding those who are in a stay situation.

    Nationality requirements must be fulfilled by December 31, 2023. For applicants for refugee status or subsidiary protection, the legal residence permit may be obtained until August 31, 2024.

    Residence: You must be registered in a municipality of the Comunitat Valenciana at the time of application and maintain this requirement throughout the academic year.

    Studies:

    • You must be enrolled in official on-site university studies during the 2024-2025 academic year, at a university of the Valencian University System or its affiliated centers.
    • You cannot already have a degree at the same level or higher than the one you are applying for.
    • You will not be able to apply for the scholarship if you only need to accredit your knowledge of a foreign language to obtain the degree.
    • You must not have been a beneficiary of this scholarship in previous calls for applications.

    Financial and academic requirements: You must meet the financial and academic requirements established in the call for applications.

    How to process

    Processing process

    The call for applications and the resolution of the grant will be published in the Diari Oficial de la Genealitat and on the website of the Conselleria de Educación, Cultura, Universidades y Empleo.

    The processing and presentation of the application will be carried out only by electronic means on the GVA processing platform.

    After the publication of the resolution, you will have one month to file an appeal for reconsideration, available at the following link

    Assessment criteria

    The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis.

    In the event that the amount of the scholarships proposed to be awarded exceeds the maximum global amount foreseen in this call for applications, these scholarships will be awarded, in the first place, to students who have a maximum of 18 credits remaining to complete their studies.

    Subsidiarily, if there is credit available, the scholarship will be awarded to students who have a maximum of 24 credits remaining to complete their studies.

    The scholarships will be awarded in descending order, according to the average grade obtained by the student proposed for the scholarship, in the previous or last academic year.

    In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the gender underrepresented in the degree program.

    Description

    You have the right to make allegations and provide documents that will have to be taken into account by the competent body in drafting the proposed resolution.

    All this in accordance with Article 53 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the common administrative procedure of public administrations.

    It is done telematically through the “Authenticated submission” of this procedure.

    The award resolution is published in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana within a maximum period of six months from the day following the publication of the call resolution. (DOGV Núm.10077)

     

    It is also published on the website of the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment.

    Amount and charge

    1. For students enrolled in public universities and their affiliated public centers, the scholarship will consist of the exemption of the payment of the amount of the credits enrolled in third and/or successive enrollments. Said amount shall be the amount established by the Decree of the Consell by which the public prices of academic and complementary university services are regulated.

    2. For students enrolled in private universities or in private centers attached to public universities, this scholarship will consist of an aid for the payment of tuition fees for the credits enrolled. The amount of this scholarship shall be equal to the minimum price of a study with the same experimentality established in the aforementioned Decree.

    3. The amount of the scholarship shall not include any exemptions or reductions in the payment of the aforementioned fees to which the beneficiary is entitled.

    4. The exemption of the fees will only apply to the subjects or credits that the applicant has enrolled in the academic year 2024-2025 in a single degree and specialty.

    5. This call does not include exemptions or aid for the completion of master's degree studies, training complements for access to or obtaining a master's degree, bachelor's degree, studies corresponding to the third cycle or doctorate, specialization studies or studies leading to the obtaining of the universities' own degrees.

    6. In any case, the scholarship will only cover the credits enrolled by the student in the third and/or successive enrollments.

    7. Those credits that exceed the minimum necessary to obtain the degree in question will not be part of the scholarship.

    Nor will the scholarship include any special prices that are accrued as a result of validations, recognition or adaptations of studies, subjects or credits.

    Withdrawal

    Description

    Withdrawal is the possibility of abandoning an application or waiving your rights in an administrative procedure.

    Description

    In the waiver, the action is definitively abandoned and therefore the right that is intended to be asserted through it, so that the claim may not be exercised again.

    The Administration will accept the waiver, declaring the proceeding concluded, unless third parties have appeared to request its continuation or its effects have to be limited due to general interest.
